GHI Custom Cabinetry Five Year Limited Warranty
What Does This Warranty Cover?
GHI Custom Cabinetry (“GHI”) warrants its cabinetry (the “Product”) will be free from defects in material and workmanship as described in this warranty (hereinafter referred to as the “Limited Warranty”). Coverage under this Limited Warranty applies only to the original purchaser and to new unused Products purchased in the 50 states in the U.S.A.
How Long Does The Coverage Last?
Five (5) years from the original date of purchase. Proof of purchase is required.
What Will GHI Do?
If a defect that is covered during the Limited Warranty period occurs, GHI will repair or replace (at GHI’s option) the Product. If a replacement is required, coverage for the Product is limited to a one time replacement during the original Limited Warranty period. GHI may substitute parts or materials of equal or higher quality if the like components are not available. Repairs to or replacement of a Product or its components under the terms of this Limited Warranty will apply to the original warranty period and will not serve to extend such period. GHI reserves the right to inspect
claimed defective products. No returns, replacements or repairs may be made without prior written consent. Some replacement parts may vary from those originally supplied.
What Does This Warranty Not Cover?
The Limited Warranty does not cover the following: (a) the natural aging or darkening of wood color, (b) the inherent growth characteristics of, or variation in wood, (c) normal wear and tear, or damage or defects caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration, non-residential use, or improper installation, storage, or handling, and (d) if there has been any modification of the Product without prior written consent by GHI. This Limited Warranty does not include reimbursement for inconvenience, removal, labor expenses in connection with the installation or uninstallation of any
material or parts, setup time, loss of use, shipping or any other costs or expenses.
GHI disclaims responsibility for damages in excess of your purchase price. There shall be no liability on the part of GHI for any special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages or for any other damages, claim or loss not expressly covered by the terms of this Limited Warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply.
How Do You Get Service?
Please contact the retail dealer from whom you purchased the Product. You must provide a copy of the original purchase receipt for proof of purchase date.
How Does State Law Apply?
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
